Tipsy is my very first bred-by keeper puppy from the Alcohol litter. I could not be happier with how she's turning out. Tipsy is extremely smart and driven, she has never backed out from something I have asked of her.
She has already started proving herself in the show ring by accumulating 3 x best baby puppy in group awards. This is a big deal in Canada as the Mudi is still relatively hard to come by, and judges never really get the chance to judge them. So this is a huge start for Tipsy's conformation career, we hope to continue into Puppy and open competition come spring.
At 13 weeks old Tipsy completed a half day barn hunt workshop and she did so well that we hope to continue working on this.
We have just recently done another barn hunt practice day, and she took back to it like a fish in water. You could see her head snap towards the scent when she found it. Super excited to hopefully trial her in Barn Hunt and other rat sports in 2027.
We also have plans to pursue rally obedience, I would love to get into a high standing in rally at some point and I think Tipsy will be the one to get me there!
2026. A Big Year For Tipsy.
What an incredible year Tipsy and I have had so far!
She has become the first and only Mudi in CKC history to win multiple group firsts.
She has also won 2 x best puppy in group
Tipsy has become Pinto Mudi's first homebred Champion!
We took a trip down to Lebanon, PA for the Mudi Regionals and Nationals, this was a huge weekend for us!
At regionals under herding specialist judge James Moses;
Winners Female
Best of Winners
Best Bred By In Regional Specialty
At Nationals under judge Cindy Meyer,
Reserve Winners Female
Best Bred By In National Specialty Show!
This has Tipsy holding both of her AKC majors needed for her AKC CH.
I am so proud of what we have accomplished!
